Tamarack Valley Energy Ltd

Fifth Avenue Place - East Tower 600,, 425 - 1st Street S.W, Calgary, Alberta, Canada | Oil & Gas

Tamarack Valley Energy is an oil and gas company involved in the identification, evaluation and operation of resource plays in the Western Canadian sedimentary basin. The Company uses a rigorous, proven modeling process to carefully manage risk and identify growth opportunities. Tamarack's diversified suite of oil-focused assets provides exposure to the high impact Cardium light oil resource plays in Lochend, Garrington/Harmattan and Buck Lake in Alberta, low cost Viking light oil resource plays in Redwater, Foley Lake and Westlock in Alberta and highly economic heavy oil opportunities southeast of Lloydminster in Saskatchewan.

Tamarack Valley utilizes a proven, rigorous process to identify opportunities, evaluate risk and measure results. We employ a specific resource play screening criteria to identify and evaluate prospective areas for repeatability, scope, large original oil or gas-in-place per section, which usually suggests sizeable reserves, and long life opportunities. Our longer term strategy involves the identification and development of assets in four different core areas, which will enable proper risk management while delivering superior rates of return. Tamarack is continuing to execute its short term strategy to develop high quality assets that allow the Company to continue to be self-sufficient, funding growth through internal cash flow and debt, enabling per share growth. To date, we have established oil prospective lands in Lochend and Garrington (Cardium oil), Buck Lake (Cardium oil and natural gas), Redwater and Westlock (shallow Viking oil play) and Saskatchewan heavy oil.

Tamarack Valley is committed to providing timely, accurate and complete disclosure of all material information to the public. As a publicly traded entity, the Company must comply with securities laws and regulations in Canada and the requirements of the TSX. Tamarack Valley will implement all appropriate policies and procedures to meet its legal and regulatory obligations. As such, the role of the Board of Directors is clear and focused: to serve the long-term interests of our shareholders.
