Turnkey systems integrator of renewable energy systems. Products include lighting systems, electric bike kits, wind turbines and power systems. Markets served include commercial and residential sectors.In 1970, Mr. Root moved to Iowa and taught himself how to farm organically. In order to preserve the food raised he built a RootCellar. Hence the company name. Unfortunately, in the early 80's not many people were interested in organic vegetables so John switched to Renewable Energy keeping the company name thinking that it represented the earliest of renewable energy technologies.
