Sunpreme is a global solar photovoltaic company that designs, develops and manufactures its proprietary SmartSilicon® Hybrid Cell Technology (HCT), which delivers the best cost-performance value to clean-tech customers, worldwide. Sunpreme's thin film, higher efficiency, higher performance, bifacial, double glass, frameless modules are designed and engineered in the Silicon Valley, USA, and are manufactured in Jiaxing, China. Simply put, Sunpreme modules are drastically different in a highly commoditized PV world; and thus, are truly the next step in solar innovation. As a result, the Company has deployed its solutions not only in the US, but across the globe. Due to their extreme ruggedness, Sunpreme's unique modules have been proven suitable for use in varying climates ranging from the extreme heat and haze of China and India, to the extreme cold of Antarctica and Alaska, as well as typhoon prone islands in the Caribbean and the Philippines.Our purpose is to commercialize, world-wide, Sunpreme’s revolutionary SmartSilicon innovation.  Developed in our Silicon Valley USA R&D center, our innovation creates a potentially 10-year technology edge over leading tier-1 suppliers. Our Carbon footprint can be 1/5 that for conventional polysilicon-based, diffused junction solar cells – thereby removing the current paradox of producing clean-tech products while locally polluting the environment. Sunpreme’s unique solution puts, for the first time, Silicon solar panels on the Moore’s law for stepped cost reductions from 60 → 45 → 30 ¢/W range by enabling successive generations of larger wafer sizes (well beyond current 156mm)  processed in industry standard LCD-FPD reactors.
