HISTORY

A Fortuitous Detour

Marie and Alex Dinverno founded Prestige Maintenance USA in 1976.Marie and Alex Dinverno founded Prestige Maintenance USA in 1976.
In the late 1970s, as Marie and Alex Dinverno were planning to move their family from California to Florida, they made a stop in McKinney, Texas. They met with a friend who was retiring from the commercial cleaning industry and looking to sell his client list. Knowing that they could provide unbeatable service to these clients, Marie and Alex bought the man’s fledgling business.

Though the Dinvernos didn’t make it to Florida at the time, they’ve never regretted the decision to put their entrepreneurial spirits to work by creating Prestige Maintenance USA. And bringing their young children, Rachel and Jason, with them to virtually every job means that the younger Dinvernos were literally raised in the industry.

When it was established, PMUSA’s core service was office and commercial cleaning. In the late 1980’s, Alex and Marie ventured into retail cleaning and expanded the company nationwide. The company continues to grow strategically, with many Fortune 100 and 500 companies among their clients.
