Founded in 1976 as B&B Precision Tools Inc., our core business was producing specialized precision tooling and fixturing used in the automotive industry. As our success in this area expanded, so did our customer base. By 1984 we had diversified our customer base to include products used in the digital photo imaging, machine building, railway and aerospace industries. B&B Precision Mfg. Inc. is 100% employee owned through an employee stock ownership plan (ESOP).  Many companies opt to sell stock to an ESOP when the current owner is getting ready to retire. Capabilities include up to 16 x 24 x 8 in. surface grinding dimension, up to 14 in. outside diameter x 40 in. long and 10 in. inside diameter x 4 in. long cylindrical grinding, and up to 10 x 3 in. diameter jig grinding. Materials worked with include carbon and alloy steel, tool steel, stainless steel, cast iron, brass, bronze, and aluminum. Other services include milling, turning, and mechanical subassembly. Capabilities include 3 and 4 axis vertical CNC machining, multi-axis CNC milling and turning, short run production, prototype to production, CNC finish grinding, ID and OD grinding, surface grinding, cylindrical grinding, jig grinding, heat treating, plating, painting and assembly. Materials worked with include carbon steel, alloy steel, tool steel, stainless steel, cast iron, brass, bronze, and aluminum.
