Hibco Plastics, Inc

P.O. Box 157 1820 US Highway 601 South, Yadkinville, North Carolina, United States | Plastic Recycling

Hibco Plastics, Inc. was incorporated in 1959 as three primary investors, C.B. Hughes, J.W. Irvin, and S.A. Bell, saw the future importance of fabricating Dow Brand foam for the floral industry.

The initial focus Hibco had on floral markets shifted in 1979 when Dan Pavlansky entered the business and started to concentrate more in the area of cushion packaging. Dan Pavlansky had been the Product Manager with the Dow Chemical Company and understood the technical nature of many complex packaging solutions. The sales volumes doubled in the first year Dan Pavlansky took over the business, and the company was forced to move from a 14,000 sq. ft. building to a facility providing over 120,000 sq. ft of manufacturing space.

Having developed a strong management team during the 80’s and 90’s, Dan Pavlansky, Chairman of the Board, is now able to operate more from a consulting role. His presence, leadership, and values are all still in existence here at Hibco. Mark, Keith, and Chris Pavlansky, three of Dan’s five sons, continue to manage the family operation. Sales volumes are remaining steady and growing even in the midst of some turbulent economic times. Hibco Plastics is founded on the principles of providing quality service and products while continuing to seek first the Kingdom of God. We continue to keep a focus on several fabricated foam markets including cushion packaging, construction, automotive, medical, and military applications.

Stewardship

At Hibco, we strive to be stewards of what we have been given, so we have found ways to recycle both polyethylene and crosslinked polyethylene products instead of just throwing our scraps in the landfill. We encourage others to do the same, but in the meantime, we have found an outlet, and are interested in these particular foam scraps from other companies.

Our Commitment

Hibco Plastics pledges to you that you will receive the highest quality, best engineered products available at the most economical cost. We work very hard to ensure that your lead-time is often a fraction of 'standard' lead times, and we are committed to do whatever it takes to satisfy your needs. Whether it is stocking your parts in our 120,000 square feet of facilities, delivering them in our own trucks, designing them on our Pro/Engineering CAD system, or getting you quick and accurate answers from our customer service personnel, Hibco is dedicated to meeting all the customer's needs. After all, commitment is critical in maintaining a quality operation for over 50 years.
