Irresponsible disposal of electronic waste materials has tremendous global repercussions. In addition, exports of monitors and other technology waste has become both a safety and environmental hazard facing our planet.

AK Recycling will recover primarily for reuse of your electronics and secondly to recycle your electronic waste.  We are working to protect the human health and the global environment.

AK Recycling will ensure your data security by using the latest combinations of hardware and software wiping programs to exceed the Department of Defense specifications.

We are adhering to the e-Steward and ISO 14001 International Environmental Management Standards. These standards exceed current industry standards and include a strict non-export of electronic waste requirement to underdeveloped countries.

We are working to a “Zero Landfill” policy. This means that all recyclable and demanufactured components will either be recycled to their core components or remanufactured as viable products.

AK Recycling is working under rigorous specifications for “chain of custody” and require “transfer of ownership” for all incoming and outgoing materials.

We also have a health and safety program in place for our workers protection.  To ensure the safety of our employees and workplace, we hold monthly safety meetings and have implemented emergency procedures for all incidents that may arise.
