Lu Mar Industrial Metals Co., Ltd stands today as one of the premier scrap metal dealers & public recycling centers in Southern California. Lu Mar Industrial Metals Co., Ltd buys scrap from over 6,500 walk in/drive in customers every week helping individuals to sell their small or large loads of scrap.

Our primary yard located in Compton California is just over 4 acre and processes an average of 7,000 tons of scrap through to consumers monthly. Our Santa Ana location services all industrial accounts throughout the Orange, Riverside and San Diego counties.

1968 - Gabriel Garcia immigrated to Los Angeles from Jalisco Mexico and started working for Paramount Scrap Iron & Metal Company.

1972 - Gabriel partnered with Paramount Scrap Iron & Metal Company.

1978 - Gabriel founded Gabriel Metals and Alloys Company in Long Beach, California.

1984 - Gabriel purchased Lu Mar Industrial Metals Co., Ltd in Compton California and was later joined by his brother Guillermo to help support the development of the company. Together, over the past 30 years their partnership and brotherhood have grown Lu Mar Industrial Metals Co., Ltd into one of the premier scrap metal dealerships in California.

2014 - Lu Mar Industrial Metals Co., Ltd purchased BC Metal Recycling to expand it’s services to industrial accounts throughout southern California adding an additional scrap yard located in Santa Ana, Orange County, California.

We provide environmentally sound, leak-proof containers at no charge, timely pickups and secure transport to our processing facility in Compton CA.  Every shipment brought to our facility is analyzed for metal content, segregated and either baled or pucked in preparation for shipment to worldwide consumers.
