Miller owns and operates quarries and gravel pits across Ontario and the Maritimes that supply high specification aggregates both directly to the construction industry and to our own asphalt and ready-mix concrete plants. In turn, those plants supply hot mix asphalt and ready-mixed concrete to industry professionals. The Miller Group has distinguished itself as a vertically integrated supplier of high quality construction materials. From Portland cement powder supplied by Miller Cement to asphalt emulsions and engineered liquid asphalt cements supplied by our sister company, McAsphalt Industries; Miller has supplied the 'ingredients' for countless construction projects across North America. The Miller Group utilizes our materials in the manufacturing of Redi-Rock® precast concrete retaining walls. Miller Transit Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Miller Group, which has its headquarters at 8050 Woodbine Avenue, in Markham, Ontario. Miller Transit has been delivering public transit operations and maintenance services to municipalities in the Greater Toronto Area since 1984. Currently, Miller Transit conducts operations under a long-term contract with the Regional Municipality of York. Under this contract, we operate and maintain more than 145 municipally owned buses, and provide modern, efficient transit services to more than 400,000 residents in the communities of Markham, Richmond Hill and Stouffville. The York Transit fleet includes a broad range of vehicles of different makes, models, sizes and configurations, and includes a number of the new-style, low-floor, wheelchair accessible buses.Bloomington Downs is located on the southeast corner of Bayview Ave and Bloomington Road in the Town of Richmond Hill. We offer a number of activities for all members of your family, including an 18 hole par 72 golf course, an 18 hole miniature golf course, a five station batting cage (set up for both softball and hardball), a large floodlit driving range with a combination of both artificial turf and grass tees, practice sand traps, putting greens and a licensed snack bar with outside patio area.
