Conflow is part of President Engineering Group Ltd., a UK-based company formed to serve the World’s energy industries.

The company’s headquarters is based in Sheffield, UK, plus a sister company Conflow Inc based in Washington, USA, that serves the American market.

The company’s history dates back to the 1950s when its main customer was British Coal who were looking to address health and safety issues in UK coal mines.

Since then, Conflow’s products have become renowned around the world and are used in all the major mining and quarrying markets.

Conflow has a dedicated technical and R&D facility based in the UK, along with a full manufacturing capability for its extensive range of products.

Our aim is to provide you with the very best possible customer service. We are members of ABMEC (Association of British Mining Equipment Companies) and our focus is on driving up standards of safety in mines and quarries around the world.

Dust suppression

Coal dust is the number one cause of fires in mines. Our dust suppression equipment helps to reduce dust, and minimise the risk of explosions underground caused when coal dust mixes with methane gas. When using Conflow equipment to reduce dust, the risk of people contracting “miners’ lung” and other diseases is also greatly reduced.
