ADESA provides customers a whole car  auction solution. We serve two main client types: institutional customers and dealers. Our institutional customers include:

The dealers who consign and purchase vehicles at ADESA auctions are licensed franchises and independent wholesale dealers. Dealer consignment vehicles include over-aged dealer inventory and unwanted dealer
trade-ins.

Our Facilities

ADESA's used vehicle auction network includes auction sites that are strategically located near areas with a large concentration of used vehicle dealerships. Each site is a multi-lane, drive-through facility that hosts at least one vehicle auction per week.

We provide a full range of vehicle remarketing services for buyers and sellers, including:

ADESA Inc.'s Chief Economist, Tom Kontos leads the company's effort to provide value-added analytical services to ADESA customers, the media, and the investment community. These services include timely market analysis on a monthly, semi-annual, and annual basis, via the Kontos Kommentary, Pulse, and the award-winning Global Vehicle Remarketing publication series. In addition, the Analytical Services team provides custom analysis of wholesale price trends for ADESA's remarketing clients.

On a monthly basis, the Kontos Kommentary provides analytical observations, indexes, and review of the current trends within the wholesale used vehicle market.

In January 2001, ADESA introduced Global Vehicle Remarketing: U.S. Canadian Markets (GVR). As shown in the opening section of that report, the U.S. and Canadian markets represent over one-third of the world's vehicle population. Long-term trends and issues relative to the $82 billion vehicle remarketing industry in these critical markets — where ADESA, Inc. is a leading player — are covered in GVR.

In June 2001, ADESA introduced Pulse®, which provides a periodic review and outlook of economic indicators pertinent to the industry. In addition, several indexes of wholesale used vehicle market activity and other information is posted regularly on this site. Through these publications and postings, ADESA Analytical Services provides timely, comprehensive and authoritative coverage of the used vehicle market and the vehicle remarketing industry in North America for key ADESA clients and industry contacts.
