ITRONICS INC

6490 S. McCarran Blvd. Bldg. C, , Ste. 23, Reno, Nevada, United States | Scrap Metal Recycling

Itronics, which was named one of the first International Green Heroes by an independent international environmental group that recognizes top environmental achievements worldwide, is a cleantech company that utilizes science and engineering to create and commercialize recycling, mineral, and nutrient technologies. The Company’s annual sales are approximately $3 million and are expected to grow significantly in coming years.

Itronics created and operates a vertically integrated silver-bearing photoliquid recycling business that manufactures specialty chelated liquid fertilizers sold under the Company’s GOLD’n GRO brand, pure silver bullion, and silver-bearing glass. This means that Itronics takes one of the most toxic liquid wastes produced in the U.S., and turns it virtually 100 percent into useable products, including award-winning GOLD’n GRO chelated liquid fertlizers that are, in turn, very beneficial for the environment. Itronics is the only company in the world to have accomplished this achievement.

Itronics has acquired a 6,000 acre Iron Oxide Copper Gold (IOCG) mineral exploration property named the Fulstone Project in the prolific Yerington Copper Mining District in northwestern Nevada. Itronics is evaluating mineral production, processing, and manufacturing opportunities for the Fulstone Project and for Itronics’ technologies that may emerge in the district. Its founder and President, Dr. John Whitney, earned a Ph.D. from the Pennsylvania State University with a Doctorate in Mineral Economics and has served as a consultant to the U.S. government and to Congress on mineral development issues.

Itronics maintains an on-going technology application research and development program with a focus on sustainability whose objective is to create new projects that can be expanded to commercial scale.

Itronics’ headquarters, operations, and research facilities are located in Reno, Nevada. Itronics Iron Oxide Copper Gold Fulstone Project is located northwest of Yerington, Nevada in the Yerington Mining District.

Cleantech Defined

The concept of cleantech embraces a diverse range of products, services, and processes across industry verticals that are inherently designed to:

Provide superior performance at lower costs
Greatly reduce or eliminate negative ecological impact
Improve the productive and responsible use of natural resources
Vertically integrated technologies are being developed and commercialized by Itronics to meet these goals
Cleantech spans many industries including:

Agriculture
Air & Environment
Materials
Manufacturing/Industrial
Recycling & Waste
Water & Wastewater
Energy Generation
Energy Storage
Energy Infrastructure
Energy Efficiency
Transportation
Clean is more than green. Clean technology, or “cleantech”, should not be confused with the terms, “environmental technology”, or “green technology”, popularized in the 1970’s and 80’s. Cleantech is new technology and related business models offering competitive returns for investors and customers while providing solutions to global challenges. Where greentech and envirotech represent the highly regulatory driven, “end-of-pipe” technology of the past with limited opportunity for attractive returns, cleantech is driven by market economics that provide greater financial upside and sustainability. Cleantech business models may encompass several industries to achieve their technology objectives.

Itronics vertically integrated Cleantech business model includes elements from Agriculture, Air & Environment, Materials, Manufacturing, Recycling & Waste, and Water & Wastewater. The Company has created revolutionary vertically integrated technology that provides improved costs to its customers, completely converts a hazardous liquid waste stream to commercial goods thereby maximizing the use of natural resources, produces liquid fertilizers that are more effective than fertilizers they replace, and that reduce the amount of residuals in the soil, the risk of surface runoff into surface waters, and the risk of groundwater pollution. The business model is structured to produce profits that are not constrained by regulatory control, thus providing open upside to Itronics’ investors as the Company grows.
