McGill Environmental Systems specializes in manufacturing premium compost products through the processing and recycling of non-hazardous, biodegradable by-products and residuals from municipal, industrial and agribusiness sources. We also design, build, and operate state-of-the-art indoor facilities — either McGill-owned or customer-owned.  All McGill operations provide reliable, weather-independent production year round. McGill Environmental Systems owns and operates regional composting facilities in the U.S. and Ireland. Our newest U.S. plant, McGill-Waverly, is located near Richmond, Virginia, and is the largest enclosed composting facility in that state.
