We are the world-leader in transforming waste bottles into new bottles. United Resource Recovery Corporation (URRC) recycles plastic food and beverage containers made of polyethylene terephthalate (“PET”) using a patented manufacturing process. PET is the plastic material used to make most soft drink bottles.  URRC’s technology, called the UnPet process, makes a low cost, high quality reclaimed PET chip resin. Our product is suitable for use in food packaging containers, under the Food and Drug Administration’s specifications. Over six billion bottles have been produced from material processed at URRC’s plant and subsequently delivered to the consumer.United Resource Recovery Corporation (URRC), headquartered in Spartanburg, South Carolina, was founded in 1992 as a process technology and service company providing recycling services for the photographic film / silver recovery market. At URRC we are committed to promote recycling in our community.We have provided supplies and pick up for many local schools and businesses. URRC has teamed up with our local Spartanburg Coca-Cola Bottling Company United, Inc. (SCCBCU) to launch a district wide recycling program in School District 5 and plan to continue it throughout the other School Districts in Spartanburg County.
