Common household paints, including waterborne architectural paints, primers, stains, and numerous other products can be easily and conveniently disposed of FREE OF CHARGE by dropping them off at GreenSheen, an approved PaintCare Drop-off Location at:

The Paint Disposal Problem:

Many States and Counties consider latex paint to be Hazardous Material and its improper disposal comes with very steep fines.

Many Counties host Hazardous Waste 'Round-Ups' a few times a year in specified mobile locations. They are not free. In fact, most cost taxpayers several thousand dollars in excess of the fees you pay at the site and much of the paint is still not recycled. It goes straight to your local Hazardous Material Landfill.

GreenSheen® takes in old leftover latex paint from Homeowners, Contractors, Landfills, Municipal Solid Waste (Paint received at the GreenSheen recycling facility is sorted upon arrival, separated by like products and every can is opened to be inspected for control quality. The paints that meet our strict quality guidelines are then intermixed with like products and colors thereby consolidating several shades of an individual color into one large pail. The metal and plastic cans and pails that the old paint was removed from are dried and crushed, if necessary, and shipped off to local recycling facilities.

The paints gathered to this point pass through several additional steps to ensure their quality and cleanliness and are then packaged and made available to the end consumer at a fraction of the cost of virgin content paints.
