Company History
REPSCO, Inc. is an independent manufacturer of custom-designed extruded plastic sheet products. Our history dates back to 1971 when our predecessor company was formed as one of the pioneers of plastic recycling. In 1988, we expanded into manufacturing and focused on the cost-effective production of products made with recycled plastic.
Innovation is a tradition at Repsco. For over 35 years we have focused on improving every step of the recycling process from sourcing materials to refining our process to net the highest quality polymers in the post-consumer market. This attention to detail has allowed us to continuously reduce costs in recycling and to pass those savings on to our customers.
Today, Repsco continues to lead the field in developing environmentally-sound, turn-key solutions for reducing your shipping and storage costs while increasing your load handling capacity. We’ve mastered the production of slipsheets in customized polymer blends and to specifications to meet any unitized load size, weight and application. Our end-to-end solutions—from materials acquisition, handling and storage products to manufacturing customized products of recycled HDPE/PP—are scaled to your enterprise size—from small businesses to Fortune 100 giants.
Because we understand the transportation and storage business as well as the recycled plastic industry, we're more excited than ever about what the future holds. With that future in mind we remain firm in our commitment to provide the highest quality products and the best service in the slipsheet industry.
Our promise to you is your 100% satisfaction in our quality, service, price and commitment to the environment. We invite you to further explore the many advantages of REPSCO Plastic Slipsheets and our other shipping and storage products.
Our Vision
Repsco is built on recycling, but we don’t stop there. Our Green & Goldprogram is a Green Initiative to encourage our clients and their partner companies and vendors to recycle used slipsheets, reusing former waste products again and again, saving money, conserving resources and reducing their environmental impact in the process.
How do we do that?
- We work proactively with our clients to enlist the participation of their partner companies and vendors in offering incentives to return used Repsco slipsheets to our facilities to be recycled.
- We show companies how using recyclable slipsheets from Repsco will help stabilize their materials handling costs in a world economy that is anything but stable.
- We’ve taken post-consumer and post-industrial recycling to a new level to allow all of the partners in a product and process cycle to achieve multiple advantages.
- We work together with our customers and their providers to complete the cycle. That means the impact of your green decision will produce exponential rewards—reducing bottom-line production, shipping and overhead costs for all the components used in your product distribution process.
Our People
At Repsco, we’re as committed to excellence in people as we are to excellence in product. As an independently owned corporation, we benefit from the vision and leadership of a tightly organized hands-on management group. Our senior executives are just as likely to be found in the testing lab or on the production line as they are making presentations to industry leaders half way around the world. It’s what makes us what we are and what sets us apart from our competition.
Paul Bennett, Jr.
President
When Paul Bennett became president of Repsco’s predecessor company it was mired in bankruptcy with an uncertain future. Under his leadership the company emerged from Chapter 11 status, corrected serious operating problems and embarked on an ambitious recycling program, tripling its sales in the process.
Staff development is an integral part of Paul’s leadership style. He continuously solicits feedback from people in the organization and its customer base, involving them proactively in building the company’s successes and infusing them with his vision and enthusiasm and a sense of personal ownership in the process.
Paul’s professional experience includes over 30 years of diverse involvement in manufacturing, marketing, sales and finance. Besides providing vision and direction for the total Repsco enterprise, his direct responsibilities include market research and product development.
Paul is also committed to community involvement, having served as an elder in his church, tutoring at-risk inner-city youth and working in a prison fellowship ministry where he has also served as a member of its state council.
