Joseph 'Jay' Bauer started Jay's Auto Wrecking, Inc. at this same location in 1960 in Edinboro, PA . His eldest son, Charlie, became president in 1989. The youngest son, Thomas ' Duke' Bauer, is also an officer in the business, and works as an inventory specialist, among other important duties.
