Sonnia and John Mahar
Sonnia and John Mahar, the President and the CEO of Texas Specialty Metals, are veterans of the metals industry. They owned and operated Metal Services, Inc. in Dallas for nearly 30 years prior to selling to what is now part of the O’Neal Group. MSI grew to 5 locations in Texas, Oklahoma and Colorado prior to the sale.
After serving as a Staff Seargant in the U.S. Army, John Mahar entered the booming metals industry, eventually founding Metal Services. A Past President of the Steel Service Center Institute in Texas, John is currently a board member of the North Dallas Bank and Trust in the Dallas area.
Andy Dimock started in the metal industry in 1990 and has worn every hat form floor sweeper to President at various companies. Andy is the Sales Manager at Texas Specialty Metals and works to ensure our customer service is second to none.
