Before customers attempt to increase load on their existing UPS systems or calibrate their legacy systems, it is a good idea to conduct a load bank testing to ensure that the UPS system will carry the expected increased load. However, there are many other factors to consider before conducting a load bank test: size of load bank, heat generated that may set off high-temperature alarms, and the length of cables. At TPS, we will perform a site survey prior to conducting a load bank test to ensure the expected load test and testing time are feasible. Our load bank testing includes capacity testing and transient response as per manufacturer’s specifications. If the test does not meet the test criteria or specifications, we will help our customers by identifying the possible problems. Once approved by our customer, we make needed adjustments and complete necessary repairs, providing a complete inspection and written report.

TPS will issue a certificate of compliance when your equipment meets the requirements.
