The Green Electronics Council is a nonprofit organization founded in 2005 to inspire and catalyze environmental leadership throughout the lifecycle of electronic technologies. The Council achieves this mission by supporting the production of consensus-based environmental leadership standards; by operating EPEAT, the definitive global rating system for greener electronics; and by convening global thought leaders in environmental design, strategy and marketing to envision more sustainable electronics design and delivery methods.

EPEAT REGISTRY

EPEAT® is the definitive global registry for greener electronics. It’s an easy-to-use resource for purchasers, manufacturers, resellers and others wanting to find and promote environmentally preferable products.

MARKET SURVEILLANCE ENTITY

The MSE  supports purchasers around the world in using EPEAT to select environmentally preferable electronics and manages the EPEAT system’s technical and business processes.

RESEARCH

To inspire responsible environmental action in the world of electronics, the Green Electronics Council has commissioned research to better understand the complex connections between electronics and sustainability.
