Aqua-Hab, Inc
2317 N. Glenisle Ave., Durango, United States | Minerals Recycling
Aqua-Hab is a small, personalized consulting firm that provides services related to aquatic system preservation, enhancement and reclamation. A Design/Build strategy is used for projects, so as to integrate science, efficient construction and site specific creativity.
Whether a small backyard wetland creation or a large river restoration project, the driving philosophy is to mesh sensitive, human intervention with unruly, natural functions and processes.
Teaching and inspiring clients about the values and often mysterious functions of ponds, rivers, wetlands and floodplains is another intention of Aqua-Hab projects and advice.
Aqua-Hab is a personalized consulting firm that specializes in aquatic ecosystem evaluation and improvement. Work encompasses small wetland delineations to large river reclamation projects. Goals are to provide clients with options that will sustain, enhance and restore aquatic environments within the context of conscientious use.
Corey Sue Hutchinson is the sole proprietor of Aqua-Hab and has been working with aquatic ecosystems since1983. As Forest Fisheries Biologist for the San Juan National Forest, Corey Sue saw the need for aquatic consulting services in SW Colorado and launched Aqua-Hab in 1994.
