Lead by Jack D. Alexander, founder of Synergy, our team boasts decades of varied experience and knowledge in natural resource technical services and in related fields.

Jack is certified by the Society for Range Management as a Certified Range Management Consultant and a Certified Professional in Rangeland Management. He is also certified by the International Erosion Control Association as a Certified Sediment and Erosion Control Specialist. His Bachelor's degree from Texas A&M and his Master’s degree from Montana State University are in Range Science. The Society for Range Management granted Jack their Outstanding Achievement Award in 2005. Synergy’s founder has more than 20 years’ experience in vegetation monitoring, data analysis, range management practices and principles, erosion-control, and permit preparation. Jack’s skill set includes:

• Extensive experience in monitoring design, data collection, crew supervision, and data analysis
• Development of grazing plans, monitoring plans, and revegetation plans
• Threatened and endangered plant and animal species surveys
• Expert testimony and litigation support in federal hearings for Bureau of Land Management and US Forest Service cases
• Writing and review of Environmental Impact Statements and Environmental Analyses
• Design, inspect, and provide construction management for erosion-control projects, utility permitting and revegetation, and mine revegetation projects
• Experienced in wetlands delineations and Waters-of-the-U.S. determinations
• Experienced with GPS/GIS and mapping
• Design and development of range monitoring tools.
