Superior Energy Performance

On October 10, 2014 the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) granted AWMS accreditation to offer verification services for Superior Energy Performance (SEP). These services expand AWMS’ offerings in the fields of sustainability, environment, health & safety, and in particular energy.

Superior Energy Performance certification recognizes facilities that have certified ISO 50001 energy management systems performing at the highest levels. Clients may achieve Silver, Gold, or Platinum level certification based upon the level of energy performance improvement achieved. In order to achieve this certification an organization must successfully complete a third-party verification of the performance improvement claimed.
