Our Story

PAX Water Technologies was founded in 2006 to develop andMARKET energy-efficient mixing systems for potable water storage tanks. Australian inventor Jay Harman developed this mixing technology after years of studying flow patterns in the natural world, such as air and ocean currents, and observing that fluids consistently move in a spiral shape. Harman literally froze a whirlpool in his bathtub to develop the prototype impeller for the PAX Water Mixer – creating a vortex flow pattern in the man-made environment to circulate millions of gallons of water with very little energy.
