After over 14 successful years in the thermoplastic welding equipment industry with involvement in sales, training, design, and many other facets, “Demo Dave” McLaury wanted to make some major changes. The only way to make this happen was to start his own company.

Taking advantage of the new, faster, lighter technology available, “Demo Dave” formed Demtech Services, Inc. in April 1999, and within 8 months, launched the Pro-Wedge hot wedge welder. It has become the welder of choice for many installers worldwide, with thousands of units shipped to date.

Demtech Services, Inc. continues to utilize the latest innovative designs, engineering, and technology to update and improve the Pro-Wedge. Plus, we added 3 more wedge welders, 4 extrusion welders, and many different types of testing equipment to the product line. All of these items can be found on the website.

Since 1999, Demtech Services, Inc. expanded its production facilities to over 10,000 square feet, including our own on-site machine shop. We use state-of-the-art CNC lathes and milling machines to produce the highest quality parts for our entire product range. Additionally, we assembled the most experienced team of technicians and employees in the industry. Our repair department is stocked with an extensive inventory of parts and accessories for all of the Demtech equipment and many of our competitor’s equipment as well while the production area keeps the shelves stocked full of machines and assemblies so orders ship immediately.

In 2011, Demtech Services, Inc. hit the road with Wayne Leger and “Demtech On The Move,” another innovative solution that delivers customer service right to your door step. The mobile unit was an instant hit, with demand for a visit from Wayne exceeding all expectations.  Over the next two years, Demtech responded by expanding “Demtech On The Move” to include Bob Annalora, Nico Fauci, and Nick Majerus.  All four technicians travel throughout the United States with their fully-equipped trailers/vans to bring the following services to you:
