A&J Moore Metal Recycling was founded to meet the demands of metal recycling in the Salisbury area.We buy all grades of Ferrous and Non-ferrous metals, we are unable to buy vehicles, fridges or microwaves.The company was born from a long family tradition steeped in materials recycling that has seen many changes from its inception in 1840, when started by its founder, William Vincent Moore and now trading under the name of A&J Moore Metal Recycling Ltd; from new premises.The business has always been situated within a few miles of Salisbury and is now run jointly by the 5th and 6th generations of the Moore family.The current company has been formed to meet the demands of metal recycling in and beyond the environs of Salisbury.We offer a range of skips from 8 to 20 yard. We can also supply smaller bins and stillages as well as specialist boxes for lead acid batteries. We are able to supply the necessary paperwork and payment can be made by cheque or transfers depending on customer requirements.We have 1.2m x 1.2m 3000 kg platform scales for weighing smaller items and a 40000 kg weighbridge for anything larger, all are regularly serviced and tested annually.A&J Moore Metal Recycling realises that the protection of the environment and prevention of pollution are essential considerations for our business.Our business of metal recycling benefits the environment by supplying recycled metal to steelworks and foundries directly reducing potential large scale harm to the environment that could be caused by the extraction of metal ores and its associated energy inputs.
