Construction Equipment Company was started in 1981 by Roger and Gary Smith and has grown from just three employees to over 70.  Construction Equipment Company manufactures rock crushing and screening equipment.  The company is headquartered in Tualatin, Oregon and the fabrication facility is located in Sheridan, Oregon.  The majority of CEC’s employees are based out of the Tualatin office. However, there are seven outside salesmen located throughout the United States.  Each salesman works closely with our dealer branches in each state. The territories are divided regionally.  All sales are processed through our dealerships, except in the Northwest US where sales are handled directly by our office. We have established dealerships with approximately 140 equipment dealers throughout the United States creating an extensive distribution system of the CEC product line.Construction Equipment Company, of Tualatin, Oregon, provides portable rock crushing and screening equipment for the aggregate, recycling, compost and wood waste industries.CEC currently manufactures the largest screen machine in the world.  We manufacture several different sizes in the Screen-It product line.  4x10 2 deck, 5x12 2 deck, 5x12 3 deck, 6x16 2 deck, 6x16 3 deck, 6x20.  CEC is one of the market leaders in the screen plant industry. CEC also is a market contender in the crusher industry.  We manufacture portable jaw plants, cone plants and both vertical and horizontal shaft impactor plants. CEC’s horizontal shaft impactor blow bar design and mounting system are patented. CEC provides complete crushing plants including electrical switch gear, control houses, generator sets and dust control systems.CEC has produced their own crusher products since 1982.  The designs are modern, very productive and reliable. CEC has an excellent parts and service department.  Our goal is to ship all parts orders the same day we receive them.    Our service department assists in plant set up, service and operational training.
