By incorporating the latest material recovery technologies, Cielo is able to achieve significant diversion from landfills while creating a feedstock specifically for our renewable diesel.

Current landfilling practices are outdated and on average, over the global scale, landfill methane emissions contribute between 10-19 percent of the methane burden into the atmosphere.

Don Allan

Mr. Allan has more than two decades of executive leadership experience including experience in debt and equity capital markets, strategy and planning, risk management and investor relations. Mr. Allan has an extensive background in business development, marketing and project development. MR. Allan is President and CEO of the Blue Horizon Group of Companies and past President and CEO of Peace River Oil. Mr. Allan was runner up for the Ernst & Young 'Entrepreneur of the Year' award in 2007.

C. Robin Ray

Mr. Ray is a Certified General Accountant. Since 1995 Mr. Ray has been a partner in the general accounting firm, MacNevin & Ray. Mr. Ray served from April 2001 to August 30, 2011 as the Chief Financial Officer & as a Director of MLB Industries Inc. Mr. Ray brings extensive business experience to Cielo.

Chris Dovbniak

Mr. Dovbniak is a retired instrumentation/electrical technician with a vast array of supervisory and planning expertise. Chris has over 30 years of process management, control and purchasing experience. Mr. Dovbniak has extensive experience in holding board held positions on non-profit and for profit corporations. Mr. Dovbniak comes with an enthusiastic, optimistic, attitude and will prove to be very advantageous with providing advice throughout engineering and construction of the refineries.

Doug MacKenzie

Director

Mr. MacKenzie, a former oil industry executive, has over 20 years experience as a senior executive, strategist and innovator in the ethanol and biofuels industry. Mr. MacKenzie is presently the President of Permolex International and is Chairman of Governance Committee and member of Audit Committee. He has been involved extensively in community volunteer activities. His education includes MBA(York), Management Science(Stanford) and Bachelor Science in Engineering Physics (U of Alberta, with Distinction).

Ivan Buzbuzian

VP of Marketing

Ivan Buzbuzian is a private investor, successful entrepreneur and businessman who has been actively involved in all levels of development for both private and public companies. His expertise has been primarily focused on mergers & acquisitions, dispositions, corporate finance, and business development. Ivan started his career as Management with the family held foundry business to which he expanded the operations and later sold and became co-founder of a multi franchisee restaurant business with Mothers Pizza. He helped expand Advanced Rehab Technologies from 4 to 38 clinics, and been President and partner of BioKit Corp.-S.A. and Majority owner of Digi Test Diagnostics Corp. Ivan has been a Founder/Officer/President/Director of many companies, is Majority Partner in a marketing/promotional product, a developer of industrial properties and is an Officer, Director, and Partner in an income producing agricultural and commercial real estate holding company. He currently is a Member of the Board and Partner of Digi Test Diagnostics Corporation, IB Corporate Advisors Inc., 348095 Ontario Inc. (a private real estate holding company), Insta Clip (a promotional product), and is President, CEO, Director and shareholder of McLaren Resources Inc. a publicly traded mining company.

Based out of Calgary, Alberta, FAS is a group of seasoned experts led by Dr. Roderick Facey, PhD, P.Eng., Dr. Facey is a professional engineer with a doctorate degree in engineering from the University of Alberta. Dr. Facey is also a chemical, systems and process engineering specialist with several years experience in refinery technologies. Dr. Facey leads the Cielo engineering and design team which continue to refine and develop advancements in renewable diesel technology and production methodologies.
