We are a green California waste solutions, manufacturing company and environmental consultants with a long and proud history, having established Sorbilite, GmbH in Germany in 1978. Our unique waste processing and recycling business model is built on the principles used by our leading scientists who have extensive knowledge in the fields of environmental resources and particle board and décor panel manufacturing.

These brilliant minds had previously worked together on the Marshall Plan initiative which was borne with the aim of developing environmental technologies. Achievements through this plan saw the price of a $30 million décor-panel plant (Formica, Resopal) reduced by a massive 90% - whilst, crucially, the quality and number of designs was dramatically increased. Equivalent results were also reached when a new type of “value-added” three-dimensional particle board plant (MDF) was designed.

In 1985 Sorbilite, Inc. was approached by the State of Virginia who requested that we establish an eco-friendly manufacturing site in the USA. We did, and in 1988 this plant became the company’s headquarters for worldwide operations. Sorbilite has established factories worldwide for more than 30 years and today is located in Hampton, Virginia.
