We design, manufacture and support underground mining products for personnel carriers, utility trucks, utility tractors such as the; Toyota Landcruiser, Toyota Hurth, Miller Truck, Miller Max, Triple 4ce, Etrac, Manbasket, Aerial Boom, Scissorlift, Cable Reel Trailer, Torque Tester and Miller Lifter.

In his early career, Ron gained 12 years experience at Jarvis Clark (now Sandvik) as manager of custom and R&D projects while building over 1500 units.

To date, Ron has obtained over 40 years of underground mining experience.

Ron's first shop opened in 1980 in a home garage, it was crowded, but efficient. In 1983 Ron loaded the Mine Kart on his homemade boat trailer and traveled to mines to demo and sell it. A detailed list of Miller Technology Inc. achievements are written below.

Vision & Corporate Overview

Ron Miller started Miller Technology Inc in 1979 to design and manufacture an underground personnel carrier, the Mine Kart with 3 wheels. 

Ron built the first Mine Karts in his home 1 car garage than loaded them on his modified home built boat trailer to demo the Mine Kart to the underground gold mines until he sold it.

The company has grown to over 60 employees,  55,000 square foot manufacturing plant and worldwide sales.

Ron has trained his staff and sons how to design and manufacture safe, quality and productive mobile equipment.

Kent Miller and Chad Miller have grown up within the company to become vice presidents to manage the family business.
