Brazfloor is a company whose origin is at the heart of its business. Having long established itself as the leading supplier of fine exotic Brazilian wood, Brazfloor is a unique company with humble beginnings.

Growing up in the south of Brazil, Brazfloor CEO Jackson Staack always dreamed of making it in the business world as an independent entrepreneur. Young, ambitious and equipped with a degree International Business and Law from UNESA, Jackson set out to establish his place in the business world of Brazil.

Settling in Rio De Janeiro, he began by opening a small office where he focused on the hardwood blocks market and began learning the ins-and-outs of the business. Still wanting to gain experience in the wood industry, in 1997 Jackson participated in his first IWPA Convention in Hawaii. There he was able to learn of innovations in the industry and establish some of the business relationships that would play important roles in Brazfloor’s future. While attending the convention Jackson also discovered that if he was going to be in the hardwood business, then he needed to be in the right place. That meant that eventually he would have to relocate to the North of Brazil where most of the exotic wood was coming from.

After a few difficult years of remaining in the south and struggling with the ups and downs of business, in 2001Jackson finally moved to Mato Grosso in the North of Brazil. He soon realized the potential growth that lay in the hardwood floor industry, Jackson decided to change the focus of his business from to exotic hardwood floors. In 2005 Brazfloor made the big move to the U.S. settling in Miami, a central location that would bring it closer to his customers.

Today Brazfloor has flourished into one of the most respected, reliable and creative companies in the industry. Brazfloor reaches out to different people all over the world and provides premium hardwood floors from the most unique and exotic species in Brazil. Brazfloor’s dedication to quality, and the loyalty of its customers has allowed it to surpass even the expectations of its founder. The company continues to be at the forefront of the flooring industry.
