The President & CEO, Mark G Mamon, has owned and operated Pacific Northwest Recycle, from 1989-2004 and Pacific Northwest Shredding, Inc. since 2003.As a former city worker, and janitor, Mark realized that recycling was a service that most, if not all businesses, were required to use. As he understood the process and steps necessary to fulfill a complete and efficient recycling service to customers, he launched his very own recycling business. His first customers ranged from many city and state contracts along with private business, small to medium sized.After about 15 years of successful recycling solutions to his customers, he also vividly saw the need for secure information destruction by those very same customers possessing confidential information. In 2003, he operated and owned both recycling & shredding services along with holding a position at The Boeing Company building 737 airplane wings.As time allowed, Mark knew that he needed to start focusing on the core shredding services of his business, since it was still in infant stages, so he quit his position at Boeing and grew his shredding service exponentially to the point where he sold the recycling service division. Since then, he has owned and operated the company solely yet with the help of his three sons.Mark currently is the secure destruction specialist (SDS) alongside with his youngest boy Billy, the other SDS, who also works in the truck with him. In the office is his eldest son Mark, a Certified Secure Destruction Specialist through the National Association for Information Destruction, or NAID, whom handles the marketing, sales, client relations and social media. These three individuals comprise of Pacific Northwest Shredding today.
