Wharton Tractor Company was established in 1944 by Mr. F. I. Moore, Jr. It was an original Ford Tractor dealership that served the Wharton County Texas area. Bob Wozniak, son-in-law, came to the company in 1946. Along with J. C. Meyer, these two men operated the 'store' until Mr. Meyer's retirement in 1982. Vance Wozniak, younger son of Bob, came on board in 1980. Dick Wozniak, elder son of Bob, started in 1986. These three managed the 'store' until Bob's death in 2002. In 2008, Karl Wozniak, son of Vance, started in the business, Austin Wozniak, Dick's son, came on-board in 2011. Now 70 years and 4 generations later, Wharton Tractor Company is still serving not only Wharton County, but a large part of the Texas gulf coast. Today it employs 16 people at 2 locations.

In June of 2008, Angleton Tractor Company became the second 'store' and serves a large area south of Houston, Texas. Both stores are authorized New Holland dealers and have sales, parts and service personnel. Tractors, hay equipment, rotary cutters, implements and consumer products comprise the majority of their inventory.
