In 1986, Steve Cameron purchased 10 acres on a two-lane highway in an undelevoped Manvel, TX. With a Chevrolet wrecker, he started Cameron Auto Salvage. Steve hauled cars and sold parts, but many of his customers needed a place to sell there metals as well. In order to better serve his customers, Steve began to crossover into the metal recycling industry. In the past decade, Cameron Auto Salvage has become Cameron Recycling and is the area's premier metal recycler. In 2008, Steve retired and his son Jason Black took over operations. Jason is dedicated to providing close customer relationships, unsurpassed customer service,and the highest prices around.To provide a metal recycling facility that treats it's customers with fairness and respect.
