Mr Renewables ™ is a leading renewable energy Assessor and Installer in East Anglia and the South East of England.

The company was originally started by a team of electrical and heating engineers based in Norfolk and Suffolk. Having seen the meltdown in the housing market, they decided to set up an ethical solar energy company that would source renewable energies for homes and businesses throughout East Anglia and the South East. The team was quickly joined by a dynamic Sales and Marketing Director who introduced a customer charter to enable the company to offer a professional, competitive, quality service to all.

Mr Renewables now has more accreditation than any other company in East Anglia and the South East of England and is Energy Company Obligation (ECO) registered.

The company has MCS accreditation for solar PV panels, air source heat pumps, ground source heat pumps, solar thermal and biomass boilers, is registered with the Renewable Energy Consumer Code (RECC), Part P Qualified (Certified Electricians) and is HETAS registered (safely work on renewable heating). We do not employ subcontractors; all our staff work directly for us and are vetted by an external agency.

Mr Renewables is a Green Deal Company with eight qualified Green Deal Assessors who are can visit your home or business and offer recommendations on the most energy efficiency, cost effective measures for your premises.

Our installations are highly optimised to give the best possible results under current government incentives, including the Green Deal and ECO. The principle of using biomass is simply the process of burning of logs, wood chips or wood pellets in a stove or biomass boiler. Stoves that burn logs have to be filled with wood by hand and require constant attention. Biomass heating boilers can be either manually fed or fully automated, computer controlled systems but both are extremely efficient. The majority of boilers run on wood chips or pellets have automatic fuel feeders which refill them at regular intervals and don’t need constant supervision. As a biomass boiler system can be plumbed into your existing central heating piping, installation is a relatively easy process but biomass boilers are generally bigger than gas or oil fired boilers. Whether you are buying in bulk or in small quantities you will also need an appropriate space for the storage of fuel i.e. a shed or garage. The most common kind of fuel for a biomass boiler is wood pellets or wood chips. Wood pellets are cylindrical shapes made from compacted sawdust, occurring naturally as a result of sawmilling. Wood chips are small pieces of wood manufactured from debarked logs, Willow and waste wood product. The type of fuel you chose will depend of a number of factors including available space, storage facilities and cost.
