Proxicast is a leading wireless systems manufacturer. Proxicast designs and manufactures innovative, commercial-grade, rugged industrial, secure wireless communications equipment that enables customers to increase productivity, enhance security, improve operational efficiency and reduce on-going communication costs. Proxicast focuses on wireless equipment for use with all major worldwide cellular standards including (CDMA) EV-DO Rev-A, EV-DO Rev-0, 1xRTT (1x) and (GSM) LTE, HSPA+, HSPA, HSUPA, HSDPA, UMTS, W-CDMA, EDGE and GPRS on cellular carriers including Verizon Wireless, Sprint PCS, AT&T Wireless, T-Mobile, Rogers, Telus, Bell Mobility, Telcel, Orange, Vodafone, O2, Telstra and others.

In the Spring of 2003, Proxicast introduced the revolutionary LAN-Cell™ Mobile Gateway based on cellular CDMA 1xRTT and GSM / GPRS technologies. The LAN-Cell's integrated cellular modem, advanced NAT router, VPN and firewall features created the first turn-key solution for industrial & commercial remote access applications using cellular data networks.

The Proxicast LAN-Cell family of professional-grade 3G/4G routers (LTE, HSPA+) are high-performance, rugged and upgradeable. The PocketPORT is the world’s smallest 3G/4G USB Cellular Modem Bridge which can function as a 3G/4G modem or mini 3G/4G router. Currently Proxicast’s primary products are 3G routers, 4G routers, 3G/4G routers, LTE routers, HSPA+ routers, 3G modems, 4G modems, 3G/4G modems, LTE modems, HSPA+ modems. Proxicast products are optimized for corporate, financial, video surveillance, security, mobile in vehicle applications (cars, trucks, buses, trains, boats), industrial automation, solar power, public transit, Machine-to-Machine (M2M) telemetry and SCADA.

Recently, Proxicast introduced the all new LAN-Cell 3 3G/4G cellular router, the next generation of LAN-Cell routers based on USB modem technology and featuring support for 3G/4G (LTE, HSPA+) cellular network technologies The LAN-Cell 3 also includes expanded security, networking, and cellular data management features into a smaller, faster and even more rugged solution.

Reliable Remote Unmanned Communications
The Proxicast LAN-Cell 3G/4G cellular router is ideal for remote telemetry, SCADA, device networking, machine-to-machine communication (M2M) and data collection applications. The LAN-Cell 3G/4G router includes special features for 'unmanned' operation such as hardware watchdogs and scheduled system restarts to minimize the need for site visits. For truly remote applications, the LAN-Cell 3G/4G router can easily be powered by solar cells. Access your remote equipment via the Internet anywhere there is cellular coverage.

The LAN-Cell 3G/4G router can be configured to be 'always connected' or to 'connect on demand' to a Cellular Data Network (CDMA or GSM) or any Ethernet-based WAN (DSL, cable, T-1, satellite modem, etc.). Any of these interfaces can be designated as primary, with the other serving as a redundant back-up communication path. Fail-over to the back-up interface is automatic. Using either static IP addresses from the ISP (or the LAN-Cell’s Dynamic DNS feature), you can access any devices attached to the LAN-side of the remote LAN-Cell unit.

LAN-Cell 3G/4G Router Advantages

  • Internet access anywhere there is cell phone coverage
  • Connect multiple remote systems to one LAN-Cell 3G/4G router
  • Dynamic DNS support to access equipment by name or IP address
  • External antenna jack supports a wide range of antennas for different applications
  • Highly configurable & flexible firmware routing, security, and management features
  • Compact, rugged design with physical security features
