A. County, Santa Monica, Santa Clarita, and many others.LEED/CHPS Green Building InitiativesWe enable contractors to meet the recycling requirements for 'Green Building' programs such as LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) and CHPS (the Collaborative for High Performance Schools).L.A. City RebatesAs a certified recycler, our high diversion rates/excellent reporting makes rebates possible to permitted haulers of $7-$8/ton.Unacceptable MaterialsDowntown Diversion does not accept non-hazardous waste requiring special handling, hazardous waste, liquid waste, pressure treated wood, lead painted wood, creosote treated wood, friable or non-friable asbestos or green waste.
