Foundation

The company was founded in 1984 by Erwin Hintz. Erwin Hintz is Managing Director and Companion of MRU.

Mission statements

Development, manufacturing and sales of high quality and low-price emission monitoring instruments on electrochemical and IR-basis for heatings and furnaces.

Continuous development of new market segments: heating installers, industrial sectors like e.g. electric-, glas-industry, breweries, paper industry, hardening facilities, clinker factories, power stations or compressor stations. Realization of this aim by means of portable and stationary, electrochemical or opto-electronic high-precision measuring technique.

Fulfilment of regulation for electronic, micro-processor controlled emission monitoring technique. Simple, compatible and safe- handling instruments operation. Creation of further markets in the area of portable vehicles measuring technique, combustion optimization systems for gasoline and diesel motors as well as measuring technique for natural gases.

Production and Assembling

Qualified personnel produce high quality electronic and electrochemical components according to a worldwide acknowledged quality standard in most modern assembling facilities and testing labs at the factory in Obereisesheim, Germany.
