CONSPEC has been serving the mining industry since 1978 and is a leader in the field of gas detection. Our equipment is “coal grade”—built to be reliable in the harshest of environments.

CONSPEC’s gas monitoring systems are MSHA-approved for use in hazardous areas of underground coal mines and designed for easy and economical expansion to meet your future needs. The system continuously monitors CO and other toxic and combustible gases. It can also be part of an Ethernet-based network, utilizing fiber optic cable as the communications backbone throughout the mine.

Our new Atmospheric Monitoring System (AMS) brings you even more ability to monitor and control processes as well monitor for gases. This unique system, which utilizes an Allen Bradley PLC, enables the end-user the ability to continuously monitor and control all processes for underground mining operations, such as belt and fan control. An open architecture allows easy integration with existing systems.
