Hamilton Tanks builds new petroleum bulk storage facility that blends soy oil with diesel fuel.Trupointe, located in Kettlersville, OH, was looking for an economic and efficient method of supplying Biodiesel to their customers. Hamilton Tanks built six (6) 30,000 and two (2) 15,000 gallon vertical tanks with double bottoms.  We helped design the oil/fuel blending system which utilizes pumps, meters, loading arms, valves, and wireless tank monitoring. The TCS blending unit is unique in that it uses electronic pulsers on the meters to automatically adjust the blending ratios. This system is one of the first Biodiesel blending systems of its kind in the area.

Kendra Barzak Elected to PEI 2013 Board of Directors

Members of PEI (Petroleum Equipment Institute) elected new members to their 2013 Board of Directors.  Kendra Barzak, General Manager of Hamilton Tanks, was elected to the Board and will serve a two-year term.  Kendra will represent manufacturers in District 11.

The Petroleum Equipment Institute is a trade association whose members manufacture, distribute and service petroleum marketing and liquid-handling equipment.

STI/SPFA Honors Hamilton Tanks with 2012 Shop Fabricated Tank of the Year Award

Hamilton Tanks has received top honors in the tank industry for its shop fabricated, split-compartment, 30,000-gallon portable asphalt storage tank.

The Steel Tank Institute named Hamilton Tanks’ customized asphalt storage tank the “Shop Fabricated Tank of the Year” in its annual distribution of awards for quality steel construction products.

The Steel Tank Institute’s Annual Product Awards recognize steel construction products and achievements that demonstrate the positive qualities and flexibility of steel as the production material of choice for applications in petroleum, chemical, agricultural and water infrastructure industries.

Hai's Retirement

August 2013 - Hamilton Tanks announces the retirement of shop supervisor, Hai Bui. Hai has been employed with Hamilton for almost 35 years. Hai began his career at Hamilton working in the yard. From there, Hai trained to become a welder and began building tanks in our shop.  Over the years, Hai became recognized as a leader, and he was promoted to the position of Shop Supervisor.  Hamilton is forever grateful for Hai’s hard work and dedication to the company.

Hamilton Tanks honored Hai with a farewell luncheon. In his retirement, Hai intends to fish and enjoy his family.
