Our story of solar installation begins nearly four decades ago, as Paradise Power Company, in 1979.  Michael (Micha) Weinman, an electrical engineer in Taos, New Mexico began using solar for off-grid sustainable living for his family. He went on to install a solar electric system for KTAOS a radio station in Taos, and began working with Earthship Biotecture to create off-grid systems for the Taos Earthship Community.

Years later, this company is now in the hands of Daniel Weinman, Michael’s son. As technology has progressed, so has Daniel’s vision for Paradise Power, thus PPC (Paradise Power Company) Solar was born. Believing in the technology, we continue to provide high quality photovoltaic systems for both homeowners, businesses, schools, and utility clients.

Like with any home improvement, we can almost always get something cheaper. When people invest their money in solar they look for three things: the highest quality, the best service and the lowest price. But the lowest price system probably won’t be the one with highest quality and the best service.
