Wind and Solar Specialists is a division of Anemometry Specialists, a Wind Assessment and Met Tower installation company. Anemometry Specialists was founded in 2002 by Rob and Tara Hach. Rob has been involved in the renewable energy business since 1994 learning the ropes from some of the early pioneers. Anemometry Specialists began with two employees and now employs 27 full time experienced staff members. Rob and Tara enjoy being part of the renewable energy market and helping their customers with Wind and Solar projects. Rob is an active member of many wind energy associations and organizations including being a board member of the Iowa Wind Energy Association.
Our corporate office is located in Alta, Iowa. This centralized location is in the heart of the great plains Wind Corridor and is surrounded with wind turbines. In fact, all you have to do is walk out the front door to see some of the early wind turbines gently turning a few hundred yards away. Anemometry Specialists proximity to the wind corridor is a major reason why we have been selected for over 1,300 wind assessment projects.
