We are a civil construction company specialising in road construction (rehabilitation and maintenance inc.), lease preperation, gravel quarries (crushers etc.) and dam construction. We boast over 30 years experience in the industry and 90% being remote work sites. We have an extemely dedicated team, 50 strong, that allows us to complete any job from conception to hand over.Suffren Contracting and Plant Hire Pty Ltd is a civil contractor whose core business is earthmoving. Our projects include road construction and maintenance, subdivision construction and civil and mining infrastructure.Suffren Contracting and Plant Hire is based in Longreach, Katherine and Roma. It is privately owned by the Directors, Rob Suffren and Bill Suffren. The company was established in 1981 as a partnership and moved to company structure in 1998.We have undertaken projects throughout local and remote areas of North and Central Queensland and across the Northern Territory. Our experienced workforce is fully equipped with mobile work camps and all necessary plant to service projects in remote areas.The fleet consists of prime movers, a variety of floats and tipping trailers, water carts, graders, loaders, dozers, scrapers, excavators, rollers, road stabiliser, mobile workshop, small plant and mobile camps.We have achieved full accreditation in AS 4801 (Safety), ISO 9001 (Quality), and ISO 14001 (Environmental) and as a result we operate at a high standard under our own management system. Suffren Contracting is also the proud recipient of the the'Skills DMC Chairmans Award' for 'Workforce Planning, Development and Leadership in Skilling Employees'Our Vision:To Be The Company of Choice through Excellence, Committment, Integrity & Safety.
