Our Company
Everyday Energy is a solar energy company that specializes in the development, design and installation of solar energy systems for multifamily affordable housing properties.
Our emphasis and expertise is focused on helping affordable housing property owners and managers make their solar investment work. We spent the last four years perfecting solar installations for multifamily affordable housing properties. Our company has been on the forefront facilitating and implementing the regulations that currently govern solar installations in affordable housing including monetizing utility allowance and maximizing tax credits. We have installed the most solar PV of any other company in the California Multifamily Affordable Solar Housing (MASH) program. There are many companies to choose from when thinking about investing in solar but no one can compete with our track record and our experience in affordable housing projects.
Our Philosopy
Our philosophy is to integrate our knowledge of solar and finance into the complex financial structure of affordable housing in a manner that is sociably responsible and financially viable.
We make clean energy available to homeowners, commercial customers and affordable housing owners. Our solar installations replace energy generated by burning fossil fuels like coal, oil and natural gas.
Energy is expensive, we want to help you lower that cost and hedge against future electricity rate increases.
When we started our business, our vision was to create something that was sustainable and made good business sense. Turns out that in our efforts to build a strong business we have helped our clients provide strength and stability to their multifamily housing investments by providing a cost effective way to deploy solar that allows them to fix their energy costs and improve the overall value of their investment.
We believe that hard work, innovation, listening, environmental responsibility, and investing in the community and our employees are the keys to our success.
We specialize in developing, designing, installing, and maintenance of solar energy systems for multifamily affordable housing. It is our goal to make it easy for our clients to receive the benefits of solar.
This is accomplished by listening and learning about our customers and how we can help them reduce their energy costs and install a solar system that meets their needs and the needs of their community.
In addition, we are experienced in leveraging state and federal incentives that can benefit our customers; creating scenarios like our Solar Service Agreement that allows customers to install solar at little to no out of pocket expense; developing training and community outreach programs; and staying on the pulse of the industry.
Affordable Housing
It is our goal to make it easy for our clients to receive the benefits of solar.
We are dedicated to bringing the benefits of solar to the affordable housing community and have installed more multi-family affordable housing projects than any company in California.
By working closely with the non-profit community housing property owners, project developers, and financial institutions we have been able to understand and solve the largest issue when looking to install solar – Cost.
Our affordable housing clients have been able install solar through a variety of packages and options such as our Solar Service Agreement, our Affordable Housing Solar Lease, Multi-family Affordable Solar Housing (MASH) grants, and a combination of federal and state incentives, tax credits, energy credits, and LIHTCs.
These solutions have solved the solar equation for the affordable housing property owners, and have provided and continue to provide financial, environmental, and community benefits.
