The Taylor name is identified with development and delivery of equipment built to the highest standards meeting the unique needs of each customer. Taylor does not adhere to a 'one-size-fits-all' philosophy. This is true in the heavy industrial lift equipment Taylor Machine Works has marketed around the world for more than 87 years. It is also true of the multiple power resources offered by Taylor Power Systems.
Taylor Power Environmental Products division is committed to providing industry and business with the best possible solutions for wastewater treatment and recovery. Available product resources are closed loop recycle, surface and sewer discharge units, storm-water run-off, by-product recovery, chemical treatment, carbon filtration, as well as other designs. These products can provide important service and support in equipment wash-down areas, transportation centers, engine repair facilities, construction areas, industrial locations, food processing, rendering, and agricultural by-products operations.
Taylor Power Systems offers quality service and support. Our professional service personnel have been trained not only to change and replace normal maintenance items, but to also inspect and repair your generator to help prevent any unexpected problems.
We are committed to providing our customers with unparalleled 24/7 service and support, helping you prepare for any emergency when the storm hits or when the power fails.
NATION-WIDE 24/7 SERVICE & SUPPORT
Taylor Power Service Centers have over $3,000,000 in parts inventories specifically for generators, transfer switches and related generator components. Our Technicians have an inventory of common repair parts easily accessible when responding to emergency calls. In addition to parts for Taylor generators, we stock parts that are common to most all makes and models of generators. These are not just maintenance parts. We stock complete control panels, circuit boards, voltage regulators and other commonly used repair parts. Our parts inventories are shared among our 5 Service Centers and 35 service vehicles. Taylor Power also has a dealer network available to ensure next day delivery and potentially same day delivery in emergency situations. We have almost 30 years of building inventory history on generator and transfer switch parts that need to be stocked to assure maximum uptime for emergency generator systems.

STANDBY GENERATORS
A standby generator is a back-up electrical system that operates automatically. Within seconds of a utility outage an automatic transfer switch senses the power loss, commands the generator to start and then transfers the electrical load to the generator.
Taylor Power Systems offers a full line of standby generators ranging from 9kW to 2000kW using a diesel engine and a line of generators from 30 to 425kW using Natural Gas or LP engine. Taylor offers additional configurations including open units, weather enclosed, and sound attenuated models with a wide variety of optional equipment.
Prime power generators can be defined as having an “unlimited run time”, or essentially a generator that will be used as a primary power source. A prime power rated generator can supply power where there is no utility source.
Continuous power is similar to prime power but has a base load rating. It can supply power continuously to a constant load, but does not have the ability to handle overload conditions or work as well with variable loads. The main difference between a prime and continuous rating is that prime power generators are set to have maximum power available at a variable load for an unlimited number of hours, and they generally include a 10% or so overload capability for short durations.
