In 1988, Savin Engineers, PC started serving clients in the New York Tri-state area providing environmental engineering and construction management services.  Building upon a solid foundation of successful water, wastewater, and landfill projects, Savin has a proven team of leaders that have expanded our reach into new markets throughout the Northeast Region and continues to push throughout the States and internationally.  Our team of professionals strives to meet the needs of ever changing regulatory requirements and ensure the quality of life for the public we serve.

The services in the environmental field soon expanded into the needs of transportation. Inspection and construction management services began to be provided for roads, bridges, tunnels, railways, harbors and airports. This now services local, regional, State and Federal needs.   Driven by regulatory changes, Savin met its client's needs by acquiring a field services company specializing in closed circuit television, flow metering, and physical conditions assessments of collections systems.  Having provided thorough and dependable services on nearly every major collection system improvements program in the Northeast (New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Syracuse, Baltimore, among others), this group has grown to be the premier field services company in the Northeast region.

Complementing our engineering expertise, this group provides value like no other firm.   Recognizing a need in the education industry for safe and modern educational facilities, Savin expanded by acquiring an established consulting firm specializing in educational planning and construction management. With this group, Savin has grown to be one of the region’s top firms in this building sector.   Specialized structural requirements emphasized the need for a reliable source for these services. Savin expanded by providing this service on existing projects. The reputation built has since expanded to municipal, commercial and private work.

Looking toward the future, in anticipation of increased energy costs and green house gas emissions, Savin has recognized our clients need for sustainability. Savin has a team of Certified Energy Managers, LEED accredited professionals, and electrical and mechanical engineers to plan and execute these projects.  Complimenting the company's history of wastewater and solid waste expertise, Savin has helped our clients capitalize on the beneficial use of biogas generated at existing landfills and wastewater treatment plants and continues to pursue new and innovative ways to meet our client’s energy conservation and environmental goals.

Our most recent addition to complement our practice areas is the addition of our Global Services division, headquartered in Atlanta, GA. Focusing on opportunities that will support the world’s well-being, services provided through our new initiative will include: Energy Transmission and Distribution, Power System Studies, Renewable Energy, Cogeneration, and Smart Grid.
