With a Windcrop small wind turbine we can provide you with a source of free electricity for 20 years, thanks to the Government’s Feed-in Tariff (FiT) scheme. All you need to take advantage of our service is enough land and enough wind.
You’ll get a secure free energy supply that’s kind to the environment; we’ll look after everything else for you. Windcrop will be your energy partner: we’ll advise on the site, take you through planning, install and maintain the turbine for 20 years.
We offer two options:
Save – guaranteed free energy at no risk to you. We make sure that your site is suitable, then install and maintain our wind turbines for 20 years free of charge. You enjoy the savings from free electricity and we earn revenue from the FiT, which covers our costs.
Earn – alternatively you can invest in your own turbine and take the benefits of all the energy generated plus the FiT. We’ll install your turbine and make sure everything is running smoothly, then we’ll provide an annual service package for as long as you want it.

Save with Windcrop
You can have a source of free electricity for 20 years, generated by one of our turbines. We supply, install and maintain the turbine for you, free of charge, in return for the FiT. All you need is a suitable site.
We take care of everything for you, from initial advice and the planning application through to decommissioning at the end of the 20 year contract term.
With Windcrop, there’s no need for you to make any major capital outlay if you don’t want to, so there’s no financial risk. We do ask for a contribution of just £500* toward the costs of the planning application as your commitment to the project, which is refunded to you in full if the application is not successful.
How do you benefit? Once installed, the electricity that our turbines produce will feed directly into your property. Every unit of generated electricity you use is a unit that you do not need to buy from the National Grid.
The Windcrop team can give you a personal estimate of how much free electricity you can generate on your site each year, together with your average wind speed and future savings projections at different levels of inflation and different rates of usage.
Our assessors will also advise you on the likely match between our energy generation and your actual usage pattern (i.e. how you use electricity day and night). There are steps you can take to maximise your use of the free electricity being generated by changing your usage pattern. Many farm operations will make use of almost all the electricity generated.
