Envitech is a leading supplier of air pollution control systems for the treatment of emissions from renewable energy production, industrial processes, and chemical, medical and hazardous waste processing.
For more than three decades Envitech has pioneered major advancements in air pollution control technology. In the 1970's this included more than 90 percent of all EPA-sponsored wet scrubber research, and during the 1980's it meant being the first to develop and install air pollution control systems for newly regulated dioxins/furans and heavy metal emissions from incinerators.
During the energy crisis of the late 1970's, Envitech personnel conducted much of the early research on coal gasification syngas clean-up and fluidized bed combustion. Concern for global climate change in recent years coupled with high oil prices has generated renewed interest in clean and renewable energy sources. Envitech is leading the charge with extensive work in biomass gasification, waste gasification and pyrolysis, biofuels, and other renewable energy projects.
Auxiliary Equipment and Services
In addition to providing equipment and start-up services for complete air pollution control systems, Envitech can provide a wide range of auxiliary equipment and services. We are a licensed general contractor and we have the experience and capability to provide a turn-key solution including assisting to obtain air permits, drawing construction permits, installing equipment, and providing on-site project management . Typical auxiliary equipment and services can include the following:
- Turn-key installation
- Ductwork, dampers, and stack
- Control systems
- Chemical storage and feed systems
- Cooling towers and water treatment systems
- Electrical sub-stations and back-up generators
- Thermal oxidizers, carbon bed filters, or cartridge filters
- Testing services to evaluate inlet particulate loading and particle size distribution (PSD)
- Consulting service to evaluate under-performing air pollution control systems.
SUPPORT
REMTECH warrants its systems for three years from date of purchase. In the unlikely event a failure occurs REMTECH maintains a stock of replacement electronic modules which can be shipped overnight for immediate exchange and replacement. The replacement module is 20 cm x 20 cm x 15 cm and weighs 3.1 kg . It includes the imbedded computer. It is easily replaceable. REMTECH antennae typically last more than 15 years and do not require repair.
After the warranty period an electronic module exchange may be made for a nominal repair charge.
