Mind4Energy was founded by four enthusiastic engineers which had the common idea of delivering responsible and high quality services within the renewable energy sector. Passionate and experienced in photovoltaic and monitoring systems Eduardo, Thomas, Mathieu and Dirk decided to join forces in order to meet one of the most important challenges we have as a society: Reliable and Sustainable Energy Supply.

Mind4Energy’s Powermonitor is developed in cooperation with Ghent University.

It is conceived by PV experts as service tool. Our goal is to make PV plant operation easy and to maximize the facility’s output.
The Powermonitor consists of a secured, web-based interface.

Design of the monitoring system including selection of cable type (ftp, optic fiber…), interfaces, loggers, communication cards
Hardware installation (Turnkey option). Installations follow regular communication installation norms and standards
Possible integration of independent sensors and meters (related to logger selection..)
Management of communication (via GPRS, Ethernet…)

Daily follow-up of PV system via Mind4Energy Powermonitor
In case of problems: immediate diagnosis via Mind4Energy Powermonitor
On-site diagnostics by means of advanced measurement devices such as insulation meter, thermal camera, module specific current and voltage measurements and power analysis for local grid issues
Identification of PV problems, contact with manufacturers and installers, implementation of the solution
Yearly on-site plant inspection and report with recommendations
Design review of existing installations (shadow analysis, electrical AC and DC, structure, monitoring)

GPRS or 3G modem for connection with monitoring portal

Can be used to verify performance of a PV plant on a temporary basis
