New Energy Partners is a diversified renewable energy technology and projects development company. The company was founded in 2001 and is based in Sydney, Australia.  We seek to implement a nimble development & investment strategy in the wind and concentrating solar thermal markets targeting positions that allow medium term competitive advantage and value creation opportunities. 

NEP Solar [www.nep-solar.com] is the solar division of New Energy Partners that concentrates on the development and production of concentrating solar process heat collectors.

Our collectors are designed to generate process heat at 120-220°C for industrial processes, solar cooling and large scale water heating. The polymer based reflector is a unique and proprietary design feature of the NEP Solar collectors leading to a light weight and easily shippable product. Precision, modular design and ease of installation make it the most accessible solar process heat collector on the market. The collector was thoroughly tested at the Australian Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO).

NEP Solar started commercial production of its concentrating solar process heat collector at the beginning of 2009. The technology will soon be deployed on several commercial projects including commercial building air conditioning, large scale water heating and process heat for food processing.

NEP Wind is the wind project development division of New Energy Partners. The primary role of NEP Wind is to identify wind farm project development opportunities and progress the project sites to permitting, including securing land rights, monitoring of wind speeds and conducting general feasibility studies. Typically projects are then developed jointly with one or several partners through to construction.

NEP Wind has successfully initiated several landmark wind farm projects in New South Wales Australia including the Cullerin Range wind farm near Goulburn and the Conroy Gap wind farm near Yass, both of which were taken to financial close by Epuron.
